About

The Lancia Rally 037 was a mid-engine rally car built by Lancia in the early 1980s for the FIA Group B World Rally Championship. Driven by Markku Alén, Attilio Bettega, and Walter Röhrl, the car won Lancia the manufacturers’ world championship in the 1983 season.

About me

I’ve had a lifelong interest in cars and motorcycles. I spent seven seasons racing motorcycles with WMRRA and OMRRA at their club level events at Pacific Raceway and Portland International Raceway. I’ve done seven multi-day endurance car races with the 24 Hours of Lemons and the Lucky Dog racing league.

I grew up with an interest in motorsports and my dad and I spent many hours working together on car projects when I was younger. I taught myself welding, electrical wiring and bodywork. For the Lancia project I used suspension modeling software to optimize the geometry before I started fabrication.

I like to travel and visited many countries in Europe including some less traveled locations such as Romania, Hungary, Estonia and Poland. In 2017 I visited Switzerland and spent a week skiing in Zermatt near the Matterhorn and took my first trip to Maui in 2019.
