Update 12/24/15

I was never happy with the number of fittings in the brake and clutch hydraulic systems. Many adapters and couplers were required to fit the hard lines and flex hoses together, plus extras inside the passenger compartment because I couldn’t run continuous hard lines from front to back. The hard lines wouldn’t snake through the passenger compartment after creating all the bends so the clutch and rear brake lines were joined inside the passenger compartment with couplers.

Instead I replaced all the lines with stainless flex lines. This solved a couple leak issues and drastically reduced the number of fittings to the bare minimum. I suppose the flex lines will have some useful lifespan past which the Teflon inner tube is degraded, but I’d rather replace all the lines down the road and not deal with the persistent leak issues I had with some of the inverted flare joints. Not much to see so no new pictures.

After a little more progress on the chassis and dashboard wiring, I’ll order the fuel injection ECU and harness. I plan to use the MS3 Pro kit which supports full sequential injection and COP ignition. The MS3 Pro also has user programmable outputs which I can use to activate the variable valve timing and variable length intake runners. I’ll order the MS3 Pro in January.
