I didn’t like the angle in my knees when seated in the driver’s seat but unfortunately the seat was all the way back against the harness bar so I moved the bar back five inches towards the rear firewall. This allowed me to move the seat to a more comfortable position. Unfortunately the new position requires a longer column and a different column angle. However the distance to the pedals is much better. I ordered a narrower Kirkey mini cup seat, Cableshift.com cable shifter and Speedway column. My sheet metal dashboard is ready for pick up tomorrow. Change of direction in the chassis color—I decided to go with black. Good news is that I won’t have to repaint the rear chassis because it’s already black. Last week I assembled the front suspension with the Howe ball joints and moved the battery box so that the coolant hoses have a more direct path to the radiator.
