Update 10/15/13
I finished sheet metal work on the front firewall and sealed all the seams. I am waiting for the POR15 WhiteCote to arrive to paint the front firewall and A-pillars. I received the Howe extended ball joints yesterday. They are really nice with absolutely no play—as precise as a spherical bearing with no springs or bushings to create play. Update 10/7/13
Progress at last. I cleaned off layers of undercoating and finished contouring the front fender wells. I installed coolant tubing which runs through the central air duct under the passenger compartment. After a few minor details I can paint the front of the chassis from the A-pillars forward. I am using WhiteCote by POR-15. I will start final assembly on the front chassis, suspension, steering, brakes, radiator, etc, as soon as the chassis is painted. Continue reading Update 10/7/13
