I was sidetracked the last few months with some house projects and helping prepare a car for the 24 Hours of Lemons race at the Ridge Motorsports Park 7/20-7/21. Unfortunately our car was completely outclassed by teams with much more time and money invested but it was still a lot of fun.

I ordered the custom flywheel, clutch kit, camshaft distributor blockoff plates and billet motor mounts from 034 Motorsports. I also ordered a 20 circuit harness from Summit Racing. My primary focus is to continue mounting the body panels but I want to spread out the purchase of remaining items over the next few months.

After a run in with an impatient driver who ran into the side of my Audi exiting his driveway, I decided to pull the trigger on a newer car and I’m now driving a 2010 Porsche Cayman S. I picked it up with only 9300 miles on the odometer. It’s really a great car and lots of fun to drive.
