I redesigned the hinge and subframe for the tilt front end to work with the new body panels. I installed supporting straps and mounted the fuel cell. The front suspension stress bar will also act as the upper fuel cell retainer. I need to modify the lower radiator support because it interferes with tilt body hinge. The resulting radiator position will be more upright. I have a few more items to fabricate for the front chassis, then I’ll disassemble, finish welding and paint the front chassis. There will be a lot of lines carrying fluid between the front and rear of the car including fuel, coolant, brake and hydraulic steering. Routing for those connections is still TBD.
